Who We Are
Capsum Publishing is an independent publisher operating across multiple genres, platforms, and pen names. We don't publish in one lane. We publish wherever the story fits best — LitRPG on Royal Road, paranormal comedy on Spotify, holiday romance on Amazon, literary magical realism on Substack. The platform serves the story, not the other way around.
We were founded on the belief that a publisher's job is to remove every obstacle between a writer's voice and the reader who needs to hear it. That means making deliberate choices about format, platform, timing, and tone — and then getting out of the way.
The Pen Name Structure
Every pen name in the Capsum catalog represents a distinct voice, genre, and reader relationship. They share infrastructure, editorial standards, and a commitment to finishing what they start — but they speak differently, publish differently, and reach different audiences.
This structure isn't a disguise. It's a service. A reader who loves Wren Clearwater's paranormal comedy doesn't need Hex Morrow's cyber-noir in their feed. A reader who follows Hex Morrow on Royal Road doesn't need holiday romance recommendations. The pen names let each voice reach its own audience cleanly, without noise.
What connects them is the standard underneath: a point of view worth following, a story that knows where it's going, and the conviction to see it through.
