Why I Can’t Stop Writing Fake Dating Romances (and What’s Coming Next…)

Fake Dating

When I started writing Fake Dating A Grumpy Scientist, I thought I was just dabbling in a fun, slightly chaotic fake dating scenario. A grumpy fertility scientist. A sunshine-y journalist. A story that was supposed to stay strictly professional.

…It didn’t.

What surprised me was how deep the emotional layers ran beneath the trope. Turns out, faking a relationship brings up a lot of real feelings. (And yes, it’s wildly fun to write.)

But I’m not done with fake dating just yet.

Coming up next is a story that takes things even further—into fake marriage territory.

It’s called A Fake Marriage to My Best Friend’s Fireman Brother—and yes, it’s as messy, heartfelt, and trope-filled as it sounds.

This time, the guy is a widowed firefighter, raising his daughter and trying to keep everything together. The woman? She’s his sister’s best friend, a quiet, practical government worker who’s been secretly in love with him for years.

To win a once-in-a-lifetime travel contest, they fake a marriage on camera. What follows is dancing lessons, family dinners, emotional flashbacks, and a whole lot of moments that feel too real to be fake.

If Fake Dating A Grumpy Scientist gave you the butterflies…this one might just break your heart (and stitch it back together again).

Thanks for signing up! The excerpt for A Fake Marriage To My Best Friends Firem is coming soon. Stay tuned
for the next romance!

Thanks for being part of this new journey with me. More fake love stories (and real ones) to come.
